Salerno Gallery is proud to present Salleigh Olsen‘s 2013 exhibition ‘The Faces of You‘. An invitation to explore the minds of the subject creating a pleasantly emotional journey enhanced by the beauty and subtle ness of the female’s characteristics. With the cleaver use of colour, line and texture to evoke a feeling which could be a subtle tilt of a head, a sweeping of hair, dynamic bold colour, or a soft line, this is the invitation to the viewers understanding of the individual.
‘The Faces of You’ represents a series of female individuals and the connection they have with the creator. In society everyone wants to define something. Whether it be an object, an idea or even an emotion but how do we define a person we know that on many levels are made up of layers and layers of different co existence meanings? Perceptions become rhetorical. The viewer makes their conclusion. Introduce yourself to the faces of you.
