Born in Chicago Illinois, USA, Hank Spirek is a figurative artist with over 45 years of professional experience working in painting, drawing and sculpture. This new solo exhibition utilizing Hank’s multidisciplinary skills, showcases work which explores facial and torso expressions that measure the human state of disorder.

Hank’s vivid painted figurative works are created on sealed MDF board using Ultra High Gloss Enamel paint. His drawings are a combination of a base illustration digitally altered in Photoshop,  printed on archival paper and reworked with either enamel paint and or Schmincke pastels. Joining his 2D works are a selection of sculptures created in a variety of mediums including paper clay, welded metal, tiles and wood.
