Hank Spirek
Hank Spirek, has over 45 years of working history as a professional artist. He was born in the Chicago Illinois, USA, graduating from Northern Arizona University with a Bachelors of Arts degree in 1969. He majored in painting and sculpture with a minor in Secondary Art Education.
Hank is a figurative artist and is skilled in numerous mediums. His paintings are on works on sealed MDF board using Taubmans Ultra High Gloss Enamel paint. His drawings are a combination of a base drawing altered in photoshop which is then printed on archival paper and reworked with either enamel paint and or Schmincke pastels. Recently Hank has returned to working in three demonstrations. At present he is using a mix of mediums including paper clay, welded medal, paper, tiles and wood by products. He also specialises in portraiture in either enamel paint on MDF or paper clay.
